Quilts
I made my first quilt in 1992 and never really stopped. Here's most of what I've made since, grouped by how it was made.

Stained glass, in cotton
In 2003 I made a run of small quilts using the “Nervous Jerky” stained-glass technique. Dark lines work like the leading, with jewel colors set in between. Gothic Cathedral was my own design.
Painting with dye
A Pair of Pears and Great Grapes started out as plain cotton. I painted them with fabric dye, then did all the shading with heavy free-motion quilting.
Curved seams
Curves are my favorite thing to piece. There's no appliqué in these, just patience and a lot of pins.
Hand-dyed fabric
When I can't find the right color, I make it. Both of these use fabric I dyed myself.
Appliqué
Leaves and roses, mostly. Some are sewn by hand in the evenings, some by machine when I'm in a hurry.
Bed quilts & classic blocks
The big ones. Some stayed in the family, and Burgundy Beauty went to Habitat for Humanity.
Art quilts & thread work
Silks, embroidery and plenty of thread. These are the small, experimental ones.
